Ohio Linux Fest

Life has been so hectic that I almost forgot that Ohio LinuxFest is coming up mighty soon.

This is probably the premier Linux event on the east coast. Arguably, being so far from Silicon Valley, it's not difficult to be a premier Linux event out this-a-way, but I still say it's a prestigious title!

A couple of years ago, I presented at Ohio Linux.

This is a good time. It keeps getting bigger and better every year, and I don't think this year will be an exception. They're doing some fun stuff with Linux Professional Institute, which will involve actual classes as well as the opportunity to take LPI exams on Sunday.

Get your employer to pay for it, it's justifiable. Really, it's worth the trip and the cost isn't very much. If for no other reason, because I'll be there!

Google is hosting a party (isn't Google hosting something with everyone these days?)

What else do I have to say to get you to show up? Probably not much, as they're expecting an even bigger crowd this year than last, and the crowd last year was huge!
